Mason Materials Development, LLC was founded by Jim Mason who has 30 years experience developing applications for plastic materials for commercial and defense applications. He has over 20 technical publications and dozens of international conference presentations. In addition
		to his years as an individual contributor in corporate research and technical service, Jim has managed several departments including Applications Development and Technical Service, General Engineering, Process Technology and Quality, and New Business Development, at Arkema, a global top 50 diversified chemical company. Before working at Arkema he was R&D Materials Science Group Leader at Beta Physics, A Kodak Company that developed piezoelectric sensors and ultrathin capacitor film. While working at the University of Rochester's Laboratory for Laser Energetics, Jim optimized vapor-deposited polymer film processes and synthesized optically active cholesteric liquid crystal polymers.
